Disney and other publishers / authors losing over 1 trillion dollars per year to offline lending

Eric Hellman uncovers a gigantic conspiracy to share books offline, and here's the kicker:  for now it's still legal.

Although, the secret copyright treaty being negotiated currently will certainly further limit the activities of these so called "librarians", for now such sharing activities are not just legal.   They are even being encouraged unwittingly by civic and business organizations.
