Planet K's little publicized fireworks spectacular again takes place at Woodlawn Lake, November 2, 2010 at 8 pm.
Because this isn't publicized much beyond the clientele of the store it is often a surprise to folks who happen to be out and hear and see the industrial size display from a distance.

I appreciate the firwork display. It will always remind me of my brother who died Nov. 17th 2008. I was weary and sad after visiting with him at the hospital. I was praying for a miracle to save him. On the way home, I was fortunate enough to view the spectacular firework display for Dia De los Muertos at Woodlawn lake. I felt it was my brother's gift to me to let me know he was going to be okay no matter what happened. I look forward to it every year as a tribute to my brother's indomitable spirit and love.
